Singer Ryu Su-jeong is drawing hot attention with music videos for the b-side tracks of her new album, featuring colorful direction.
Ryu Su-jeong released the music videos for "Lucky Charms" and "shoulda woulda coulda," tracks from her 4th mini album "ALL THE COLORS I AM," through her official social media and YouTube channels on the 12th and 13th.
Ryu Su-jeong has been receiving enthusiastic responses day after day by sequentially releasing music videos for all tracks on her new album. In the music video for "Crying to," pre-released a day before the album release, she left an impression with just her voice without accompaniment, while the title track "Diamond" expressed free movement as she shed flashy styling to find her true self.
The subsequently released music video for "Lucky Charms" featured different versions of Ryu Su-jeong, sensibly conveying the message that believing in oneself is the most important thing. In particular, the animation of three Ryu Su-jeongs getting into a car and going for a drive added a fairy-tale-like and dreamy feel. Combined with a retro mood, it highlighted the unique charm of the video.
The music video for "shoulda woulda coulda" wittily captured the song's atmosphere, which intuitively expresses lingering attachment and regret over a past relationship, by comparing it to a track and field race. Wearing outfits ranging from school uniforms to a flashy turquoise hairstyle, and long black hair with black wings, past versions of Ryu Su-jeong and a turtle ran on the track toward a goal. They crossed the finish line together, and soon even the turtle completed the race, drawing a cheerful period to the video.
Released on the 11th, her 4th mini album "ALL THE COLORS I AM" is an album that melts away Ryu Su-jeong's various facets that cannot be defined by a single color. The title track "Diamond" is a song containing the realization that what makes her shine was already inside her. Having recently signed an exclusive contract with the comprehensive entertainment company all my anecdotes, Ryu Su-jeong joined hands with General Producer Lee Hae-in and participated in writing lyrics for the album, showing her deepened musical capabilities.
In particular, Ryu Su-jeong drew eyes on her comeback stage for MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 12th by taking the stage barefoot and performing an act of casting off the accessories she was wearing.
