On the 13th, the "Moo No Plan" production team posted a lengthy official statement via social media, stating, "Recently, content that differs from the facts regarding the restaurant casting for this broadcast has been spreading through articles and social media."
The production team strongly refuted the claims, stating, "Based on some online comments and unverified eyewitness accounts, it is being reported as if the program pre-arranged restaurants or scripted the situations, but this is not true. Before filming at a restaurant, we do not contact the restaurant or the owner in advance to negotiate filming, nor do we notify them of the cast members' visits in advance. This is a production principle that has been consistently maintained since the beginning of the program."
They added, "We express our regret that some recent reports have cited online comments or individual speculative claims without verifying the facts through the production team, making it appear as though the program's manipulation or staging has been confirmed. We will continue to make the program according to the production principles we have maintained so far, and if necessary, we will actively correct the facts regarding cases that expand and reproduce unverified content as if it were true."
After this statement was released, cast member Jun Hyun-moo also showed his support for the production team's response by clicking "like" on the post.
Previously, following controversies over alleged manipulation in some scenes of the MBC program "I Live Alone" featuring Jun Hyun-moo, unverified eyewitness accounts spread across online communities claiming that the "Moo No Plan" filming team had entered and started filming a restaurant before business hours, raising suspicions of pre-arranged staging for this program as well.
