Premiering on Wednesday, October 7, SBS's "The Listen" is a music variety show that travels to every corner of South Korea, delivering top-tier live vocals and soulful busking performances.
Leading the season, powerhouse Korean vocalists Lee Young-hyun, Tei, DK (December), and Lee Seung-gi have officially joined the roster, providing a commanding presence on stage. Adding to the excitement, EXO's SUHO and ATEEZ's main vocalist JONGHO will set aside their intense performance routines to showcase their heartfelt, emotional vocals.
The female vocal lineup is equally spectacular. Unrivaled vocalists Lee Ye-joon, Shin Ye-young, YUJU, CHUU, and Lee Ye-ji will unite to present rich, intricate harmonies. In addition, trot stars Kim Hee-jae, Park Ji-hyun, and Song Min-jun will expand their musical horizons into emotional ballads, bringing a fresh, genre-crossing charm to the stage.
This season will also introduce a brand-new segment titled "Destined Busking," featuring entertaining hidden missions with the audience. On set, explosive humor erupted courtesy of former radio host Tei and veteran variety star Lee Seung-gi. Laughter also ensued as the cast reportedly broke a sweat trying to keep up with Lee Young-hyun's spirited enthusiasm. Furthermore, fans can look forward to rare co-ed unit performances never seen before, including Tei and YUJU, SUHO and Lee Ye-ji, as well as Lee Young-hyun and Lee Seung-gi.
Exciting new music releases are also on the way. On September 30 at 6 PM, the pre-release male ensemble track "In Trouble"—featuring Tei, DK, Lee Seung-gi, SUHO, JONGHO, Kim Hee-jae, and Park Ji-hyun—will drop, followed by SUHO's solo single "Let's Stay Well" on October 4 at 6 PM.
Bringing romance to autumn evenings, SBS's "The Listen" will air every Wednesday at 11 PM starting October 7.
