On the October 2 broadcast of SBS's "Whatever You Wish, Genie – My Genie Secretary" (hereinafter "My Genie Secretary"), girl group RESCENE, who earned the highest number of recommendations, appeared as the featured "My Star."
On this day, the production team briefed Lee Seo-jin—who was unfamiliar with RESCENE, 2026's top rising stars—on their current busy schedule.
Regarding RESCENE, the production team explained, "The agency can barely get any work done because they receive 100 casting calls a day. They have 40 schedules a week and over 100 commercial offers alone," adding, "They just returned from Los Angeles yesterday and came to the shoot with barely any sleep."
Hearing this, Lee Seo-jin remarked, "Isn't it normal not to sleep when you're that young and successful? That's when you sleep on airplanes." When the production team asked, "Don't you feel bad for them?" Lee Seo-jin quipped, "Hey, isn't that just how it goes? You sleep on airplanes," jokingly whining, "They should be taking care of us. This older brother is about to collapse right now," sparking laughter on set.
