Actor Um Tae-goo is taking to the streets once again to help sell "The Big Issue."
According to his agency TEAMHOPE on October 6, Um Tae-goo is scheduled to meet citizens as a "BigDome"—a one-day sales volunteer for "The Big Issue"—near Jonggak Station in Seoul on October 14.
This marks Um Tae-goo's third time participating as a "BigDome." After forming a connection with the magazine as a cover model last year, he began his volunteer journey by stepping directly onto the sales floor. In February and September of last year, he braved freezing temperatures and scorching heat, respectively, to take to the streets and cheer on the vendors.
Returning to the exact same spot this year proves his dedication is far from a one-off gesture. His actions have also inspired his fans, who have voluntarily joined the "BigDome" movement—transforming the actor's personal goodwill into a shared journey of giving.
Um Tae-goo plans to spend another meaningful day on-site, connecting directly with citizens, assisting in sales of "The Big Issue," and offering heartfelt encouragement to vendors.
Um Tae-goo debuted in 2007 with the film "Epitaph" and has since carved out a distinct presence across both film and television. He has showcased his powerful versatility in a wide range of projects, including "The Age of Shadows," "A Taxi Driver," "Night in Paradise," "Save Me 2," "Hometown," and "Inspector Koo."
