Airing its first episode tonight at 10:50 PM, SBS's "The Listen" is a busking program built around the concept of a "see, feel, and sing" musical journey, capturing stories and everyday people across the nation through music. With a total of 14 musicians joining this season, eight artists—Lee Young-hyun, Tei, DK, Suho, Chuu, Jongho, Shin Ye-young, and Park Ji-hyun—will step up first in the premiere episode.
Visiting the Korea Water Resources Corporation in Daejeon for their first busking venue, the cast members transform into "one-day employees" to experience life in the workplace firsthand. To ensure a successful first busking stage, they then carry out a secret mission that drew exclamations of "ingenious," stirring up immense excitement on site.
In particular, a series of unexpected encounters unfolded on location. "Trot Prince" Park Ji-hyun warmed hearts by meeting a hometown friend and a devoted fan, handing them special gifts. ATEEZ's Jongho met an individual claiming to be the "Choi San of Daejeon" and delivered a surprise "BAD" challenge. Jongho sparked laughter with his witty reaction, remarking, "It's my first time popping my chest alone in front of so many people without my members." Senior idol Suho joined in as well, showcasing "EXO's class" and heating up the atmosphere.

The main busking performances are also set to be rich and dynamic. Along with the live performance of the male group track "It's a Big Deal" (originally by V.O.S), which received widespread love as a pre-release single, a lineup of deeply emotional remake performances will follow, including Chuu's "I Love You" (originally by Cool's Lee Jae-hoon), Jongho's "As Much as I Loved" (originally by Tim), and Shin Ye-young's "It's Because I Don't Love You" (originally by Lim Han-byul), all releasing at 6:00 PM today.
On top of that, genre-defying special collaboration stages that can only be seen on "The Listen"—such as Lee Young-hyun, Tei, and DK's "Can We Love Again," Suho, Chuu, and Park Ji-hyun's "Aloha," and Jongho and Shin Ye-young's "Just as Our Love"—along with an innovative new mission segment titled "Busking of Destiny," are set to captivate viewers' senses.
SBS's "The Listen," set to enrich autumn nights with deep sentiment, will air every Wednesday at 10:50 PM starting October 7.
