Singer Seo Inyoung, who is preparing for her remarriage, expressed her apologies to singer Lyn, who sang the congratulatory song at her first wedding.
On October 7, a video released on Seo Inyoung's YouTube channel showed Seo Inyoung visiting the home of senior singer Baek Z Young. Seo Inyoung opened up about being scolded by Baek Z Young in a waiting room during her rookie days, and Baek Z Young personally cooked the sujebi (hand-pulled dough soup) Seo Inyoung had requested while apologizing for the past incident.
On this day, Seo Inyoung playfully complained, "Unnie, you adored Lyn unnie and Jung-ah unnie [from Jewelry], so I felt it was unfair because I wanted to be loved too." Explaining the situation back then, Seo Inyoung said, "There was someone younger whom Jiyoung unnie cared about who had an awkward relationship with me, and because she is so loyal, she did not view me favorably."
The decisive moment Seo Inyoung remembered occurred in a waiting room. Seo Inyoung had entered the waiting room shared by Lyn and Baek Z Young to see Lyn, where she was laughing and chatting loudly with Lyn, until Baek Z Young could no longer hold back and told her, "Seo Inyoung, I don't think this is the time for you to be acting like this." Baek Z Young recalled, "Looking at her now, she is kind, soft-hearted, and easygoing, but back then we had never really talked properly, and she did not appear humble."
The two decided to call Lyn directly to ask about what happened back then. Regarding Lyn, Seo Inyoung felt apologetic, saying, "She sang the congratulatory song at my first wedding. When Seo Inyoung told Lyn, "Unnie, I'm getting married again," Lyn responded coolly, "Then call me," while belatedly confiding that she "felt bad" when hearing the news of Inyoung's divorce.
Seo Inyoung is scheduled to remarry a businessman six years her senior in the second half of this year.
