It was belatedly revealed that the late action actor Kim Hyun-i passed away last summer.

At the end of Episode 1 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Doctor X: Mafia in White", which aired on October 9, a caption was shown stating, "In memory of our precious colleague, the late Kim Hyun-i, who ran alongside us." Beneath the message was the note, "From the entire production team of Doctor X: Mafia in White."

The following day, on October 10, a memorial caption also appeared at the end of Episode 1 of the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "100 Days of Deception," reading, "We will never forget and will always remember the late action actor Kim Hyun-i." With two consecutive dramas airing memorial messages, attention has turned to the sad news of the actor's passing.

Kim Hyun-i is known to have passed away after filming for "Doctor X: Mafia in White" had concluded.

The late actor contributed to films including "Black Nuns," "Forbidden Fairytale," "Victory," and "Project Silence," as well as dramas such as "The Penthouse: War in Life" and "New Recruit 4: Sabotage."
