Director Park Hoon-jung's new film "Tristes Tropiques" has confirmed its theatrical release for November 25 and unveiled its teaser poster and teaser trailer.

"Tristes Tropiques" tells the story of members belonging to the assassin organization "Tristes Tropiques"—raised like brothers by their "Master"—who become consumed by mutual suspicion and vow bloody revenge following the Master's death. It is the latest film from director Park Hoon-jung, the mastermind behind "New World," "The Witch," and "The Tyrant".

The fresh energy of actors Lee Shin-young and Park Yu-rim, chosen by director Park Hoon-jung, combined with the weighty presence of Kim Myung-min, one of South Korea's representative powerhouse actors, firmly anchors the center of the drama. Furthermore, veteran actor Park Hae-soo and a roster of leading Taiwanese actors including Lin Po-hung, Chen Yi-wen, and Wang Po-chieh have joined the ensemble, signaling an overwhelming acting synergy that crosses borders and languages.

The newly released teaser poster instantly commands attention through the contrast between someone's hand clutching a gun as if ready to pull the trigger at any moment and a bizarre masked figure revealed beyond it. Foreshadowing the bloody retribution sparked by uncontrollable suspicions blooming among the members, as well as the order shattered in the absence of the absolute ruler "Master" (Kim Myung-min), the mysterious aura permeating the entire poster maximizes tension.

"Tristes Tropiques" hits theaters on November 25.
