PLAVE, the first K-pop virtual group to enter the U.S. Billboard 200, has once again swept domestic music charts with their new mini album.

PLAVE's fifth mini album "HYPERDRIVE" was released across various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on October 12. As of midnight on October 13, all tracks from the album—including the title track "Star Trace," as well as "Ggun," "Sweet Rain," "The Answer Is Yes," and "Rewind"—lined up consecutively from No. 1 to No. 5 on the Melon TOP100 chart.

In addition to Melon, all five new songs entered the TOP5 on Genie and Bugs, achieving an "all-kill" across all three major domestic music platforms. Their agency, Vlast, shared that the group achieved a full chart lineup with the title track and all b-sides claiming the upper ranks.

The album features a total of five songs spanning diverse genres, from EDM-based dance pop to bossa nova, rock, pop, and R&B pop.

PLAVE is currently continuing their first world tour, "KEEP IT MANIC." Starting with shows in South Korea, the tour will visit Singapore on October 17, Taipei on October 23 and 24, Macao on October 31 and November 1, and Los Angeles on November 14.

PLAVE is a five-member virtual boy group that debuted on March 12, 2023. Their name is a combination of "Play" and "Rêve" (dream). They are a self-producing group whose five members directly take part in songwriting, composing, producing, and choreographing.
