Rookie girl group A2O LITE, launched by A2O Key Producer Lee Soo-man, is creating a buzz across the music industry with an unconventional debut stage performance.
A2O LITE's debut track "NEON," released digitally at 6 p.m. on October 13, climbed to No. 1 on Melon's TOP100 chart at 11 p.m. on October 14. Achieving this milestone roughly 29 hours after its release, the track overtook "I'm gonna TOESA" by i-dle's SOYEON—which had steadily held the top position—and maintained the No. 1 spot until 8 a.m. on October 15.

Their bold choreography cannot be overlooked in this achievement. The performance featured XILI and AIJING taking the stage for "INTRO" and "NEON". During the intro where the two danced in sync, AIJING executing a turn on one foot was highlighted as the "killing part," sparking strong reactions among fans. Online commenters responded enthusiastically, noting that it felt like watching BoA's past performances.
Regarding this, choreographer J Black shared a video of A2O LITE's debut stage on his Instagram on October 14, writing, "I am J Black, who took part in creating the two-person intro choreography for A2O's XILI and AIJING. Lee Dong-gyu and Choi In-young of Cream Dance co-participated in the creation and training. Please enjoy the choreography and show lots of love for our A2O".
Rumors had initially circulated that this intro choreography was the work of another dancer. J Black shut down the speculation by leaving a comment on the post saying, "Huh?"
