Actor Park Ji-young has confirmed her appearance in "Crash 2," showcasing an even deeper charisma.
Scheduled to premiere on November 16, ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Crash 2" is the second installment of "Crash," which received acclaim for its novel subject matter of traffic crimes and the exhilarating team play of Namgang Police Station's Traffic Crime Investigation (T.C.I) team punishing villains on the road.
In "Crash 2," anticipation is building among prospective viewers as T.C.I is reborn as a regional investigation unit under the National Office of Investigation (NOI), resolving nationwide traffic crime cases and unfolding a relentless, non-stop investigative action drama that rounds up increasingly cunning and formidable perpetrators of serious traffic offenses.
In the drama, Park Ji-young will reprise her role from "Crash" as Shin So-jeong, head of the National Office of Investigation, adding gravitas to the story. She is a vanguard of reform who came to the NOI to cut off the corrupt ties entrenched within the police. In the previous season, she was the pivotal figure who persuaded Jung Chae-man (played by Heo Sung-tae) and reorganized the T.C.I into a team directly affiliated with the National Office of Investigation, leading its fresh start. Amid the expanded organization and investigative system in "Crash 2," Park Ji-young is expected to elevate the drama's quality not only by serving as the central axis bridging the T.C.I team and the broader organization, but also by exuding her signature elegant aura and warmth.
