Rapper Yang Hong-won held a wedding ceremony with model Won Hyun-joo, three years after establishing a family together.
Yang Hong-won and Won Hyun-joo held their wedding ceremony on the afternoon of October 18 at an undisclosed location in Seoul. Rapper Swings hosted the ceremony, and the couple's daughter, Lua, served as the flower girl.
The two began dating around 2017, registered their marriage in 2023 to become a legal couple, and welcomed their daughter Yang Lu-a in November of the following year. Through their YouTube channel "Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary," they have shared their daily life with their daughter as well as their wedding preparation process, including gatherings to hand out wedding invitations and wedding dress fittings. Yang Hong-won also previously shared his reason, saying, "I do YouTube to make time for my daughter."
Following the wedding ceremony, Yang Hong-won posted wedding photos on his social media along with the message, "Hyun-joo, I love you. I still feel like I'm walking into (name of a specific motel)". While some online users viewed this as an honest expression recalling their long dating history, others expressed disappointment, commenting that the remark was inappropriate for a wedding, especially since they run a family YouTube channel with their daughter.
