Netflix is producing a K-pop audition program.

Netflix has confirmed the production of "We Go High," a K-pop audition project where students from South Korea's elite arts high schools will compete, putting their school's honor and earnest dreams on the line, and began recruiting contestants today, October 21.

"We Go High" is Netflix's K-pop girl group audition project set in arts high schools where students major in their dreams. True to its title, it is expected to capture the pure passion of arts high school students who harbor dreams of running toward a higher and wider world.

The show will present the journey of highly skilled students representing South Korea's arts high schools as they meet ideal rivals and create even greater synergy through "We Go High."

Anyone currently enrolled as a first- or second-year student at a high school with arts- or broadcasting-related departments, as well as prospective students entering in the 2027 academic year, is eligible to apply for "We Go High." Detailed information can be found on Netflix Korea's official social media channels.

Production and directing will be helmed by producers Park Jin-kyung and Lee Jae-seok of monsterahaus. Attention is focused on the new audition project brought together by the two creators, who have demonstrated their directing skills across variety shows with distinctive concepts.

In addition, Netflix and SM C&C have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation to support the growth and activities of the group formed through "We Go High" even beyond their debut. Following the conclusion of the program, the two companies plan to collaborate to support the debut group's training and overall activities based on their respective roles, joining forces so they can showcase their capabilities on the global stage.
