Actor Lee Young-ae put rumors regarding Kim Hye-ja's health to rest with a single photo.
On October 20, Lee posted a photo on social media showing her smiling while seated side by side with Kim. The picture was taken at the recent VIP premiere of the film "Still Shining."
After watching the movie, Lee wrote, "It was so piercingly painful. But I pray that it shines still brilliantly, forever radiantly. I highly recommend it this autumn. Thank you for making such a heartwarming film."
In the released photo, Kim warmed viewers' hearts with her signature bright smile. Above all, she appeared healthy enough to brush aside the recent rumors surrounding her well-being.
On October 6, Kim appeared on the red carpet at the 31st Busan International Film Festival while being supported and was seen coughing. Furthermore, health concerns were raised after it was announced that she would not attend the press preview for "Still Shining" on October 15 due to condition issues.
"Still Shining" tells the story of Soon-ok, who reunites after 60 years with her best friend with whom she shared the most radiant moments of her life. Drawing keen interest as Kim's return to the big screen after nine years, the film was released in theaters nationwide today, October 21.
