On the SBS audition project "The Ballad of Us 2," airing Monday, October 26 at 10 p.m., an unavoidable Round 2 one-on-one designated death match will unfold where losers face immediate elimination.
Known as "SBS's daughter" after making a name for herself on the SBS audition program "The Fan," BIBI fully prepared for the taping, transitioning from former contestant to special "Top 100 Ears" representative panelist. While watching the audition performances, BIBI showed an unexpectedly unique energy and even burst into tears, raising curiosity.
On the other hand, Joo Woo-jae, who was active in Round 1, faced the crisis of being demoted to the periphery of the "Top 100 Ears" representative panel. Cha Tae-hyun eventually took control of the studio atmosphere by issuing a strong warning to Joo Woo-jae, saying, "If you do poorly today, you're out completely."
In the Round 2 death match that followed, a big matchup was set between "vocal tone fairies" Yoo Hye-ri and Kim Soo-ah, both of whom had captured the hearts of the "Top 100 Ears." As the two chose Jeon Won-seok's "Don't Leave" and Yoon Sang's "What Is Love," respectively, Roy Kim heightened anticipation by mentioning the song's high difficulty, remarking, "In the past, Jung Jae-hyung once gave me a ban, telling me, 'Don't even listen to or sing Yoon Sang's songs.'"
In addition, a survival face-off between Lim Ba-da, who scored a high 147 votes in Round 1, and strong championship contender Heo Chae-min has been teased, promising an unpredictable, fiercely fought battle.
Revealing the one-on-one death matches where contestants face a brutal test with survival on the line, "The Ballad of Us 2" airs tonight, October 26, at 10 p.m.
