Actor Cho Jung-seok will appear as a guest on Episode 3 of the SBS variety show "The Great Hang-jun," airing on Thursday, October 29 at 10:20 PM. "The Great Hang-jun" is an engaging, witty talk show centered around the concept of Director Jang Hang-jun holding auditions to cast top actors in his autobiographical film.
During a recent recording, Cho Jung-seok recalled his time performing in the musical "Grease" and confessed to a harrowing moment, saying, "I made a bigger mistake than wetting my pants." Having played the role of Roger, an expert at mooning, he drew attention by slyly demonstrating the move on set, explaining, "You have to pull them down swiftly all at once to make an impact."
Cho Jung-seok continued to recall that during an actual performance, his overenthusiasm caused his pants to slide all the way down to his thighs. He shared, "Rather than being shocked, my fellow cast members were so worried that they were like, 'What do we do?'" However, he drew laughs by proving his extraordinary confidence in his backside, adding, "The audience's reaction was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. I gained a lot of fans back then."
It was reported that Director Jang Hang-jun expressed satisfaction with Cho Jung-seok's passionate dedication, which went as far as willingly demonstrating the mooning act. Jang showed a strong desire to cast him in his autobiographical movie, remarking, "The more I get to know Cho Jung-seok, the more I truly want to work with him on a project."
Cho Jung-seok's full performance—unleashing everything from his embarrassing stage history to his witty banter—will be revealed on "The Great Hang-jun," airing Thursday, October 29 at 10:20 PM.
