On October 27, the team behind SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine to Six" (written by Choi Ji-oh, directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee), which premieres on Wednesday, November 25, unveiled a teaser poster capturing the professional aura of its protagonist, Kang Lee-ji (played by Park Minyoung).
"Nine to Six" is an on-and-off work-life balance romance drama about a rational woman who has spent her life proving herself through work, and meets a warm and emotional man to rewrite the standards of work, love, and happiness.
In the released teaser poster, Park Minyoung instantly catches the eye with a stylish look reminiscent of an economic magazine cover model. Her chic, sharp bob cut paired with a sophisticated suit embodies the ultimate role model for office workers. Even amidst a flurry of scattering documents, she maintains a confident, relaxed expression, exuding the strong aura of a top-tier professional.
In particular, the tagline inscribed on the poster, "Work ability: 100 points, dating ability: unknown," draws attention. It hints at the unexpected charm of Kang Lee-ji, who, despite her flawless professional competence, will display a quirky and clumsy side when it comes to romance. Alongside this, photos of Kang Lee-ji, Han Sun-woo (played by Yook Sung-jae), and Park Hyun-tae (played by Go Soo) hung side by side on an office wall hint at unexpected connections entering Kang Lee-ji's self-sufficient daily life, sparking excitement.
The production team stated, "Please look forward to what side Kang Lee-ji, who is professional from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., will show in romance, which remains a question mark, as well as the work-life balance romance that will unfold in 'Nine to Six.'"
"Nine to Six" will premiere on Wednesday, November 25, at 9 p.m.
