Actor Kim Seolhyun is set to greet viewers worldwide through the Netflix series "Tantara."
Kim Seolhyun attended the "What Next" stage at "Netfl-Janchi," an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of Netflix Korea held at the Culture Tank in Sangam-dong, Seoul, on October 24, where she personally introduced her upcoming project.
Scheduled to premiere on December 11, "Tantara" is set against the backdrop of the South Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to the 1980s, portraying the coming-of-age journey of individuals who lived fiercely while chasing their dreams of success. Kim Seolhyun takes on the role of Minhee, a daring character who pushes forward toward success, and stars alongside Song Hyekyo, who plays Minja.
Speaking at the event, Kim Seolhyun introduced "Tantara" as "a work where dreams of success and care for one another shine through, even amidst a barbaric and violent reality."
Meanwhile, Kim Seolhyun is set to continue her busy lineup of acting projects in the second half of the year, including "Tantara," portraying the supernatural being Yeoni in JTBC's upcoming drama "Human X Gumiho," and making a special appearance as secretary Lee Ae-rin in the new Disney+ series "Real Man."
