On October 28, the production team of SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Good Partner 2" (written by Choi Yu-na, directed by Seo Min-jeong), which premieres on Friday, November 20, unveiled character stills of Kang Hye-seong (played by Kim Hyeyoon), an experienced lawyer armed with passion and determination to win her cases.
"Good Partner 2" is a refreshing courtroom drama following Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara), a managing partner who is a natural at handling divorces, and Kang Hye-seong, an experienced attorney genuinely dedicated to divorce cases, as they become each other's good partners. Returning for a second season after two years, the series is generating huge excitement with Kim Hyeyoon joining as Jang Nara's new partner.
Kim Hyeyoon, who has driven massive hit syndromes with her versatile acting in "Sky Castle," "Lovely Runner," and the film "Salmokji : Whispering Water," is now stepping into her first professional role. She transforms into Kang Hye-seong, an experienced attorney who cares more deeply about divorce cases than anyone else. Aspiring to make a name for herself as a divorce specialist, she finds herself in a fiery divorce case showdown with the legendary Cha Eun-kyung right from their very first encounter.
In the newly released stills, Kim Hyeyoon displays her passion as a lawyer with a confident smile and sparkling eyes. From her relentless dedication to pounding the pavement to gather evidence for her clients to her unwavering presence while presenting arguments in the courtroom, the images build anticipation for Kang Hye-seong's unstoppable drive to secure victories.
"It is an honor to join such a great project," Kim Hyeyoon shared. "As a newly introduced character, I am very excited and eager to see how viewers will receive her." Explaining her reason for choosing the drama, she added, "I had never played a professional role before, so I chose this project because I wanted to show a new side of myself through this opportunity."

Set to showcase a special womance chemistry with Jang Nara alongside Kim Hyeyoon's character growth, "Good Partner 2" will premiere on Friday, November 20 at 9:50 PM as the follow-up to the currently airing "Doctor X: Mafia in White."
