Actor Kim Jaewon shared his excitement and determination ahead of his big-screen debut.
Attending the press screening and press conference for the film "Final Interview" held at CGV Yongsan in Seoul on the afternoon of October 28, Kim Jaewon expressed his affection for the project, saying, "This is my feature film debut. Until now, I have greeted audiences through series and dramas. For film, I felt I needed to deliver a detailed performance on a full screen, so I prepared twice as hard. After discussions with the director, we built it scene by scene. Because I prepared so hard, I have a special affection for it."
Kim Jaewon revealed his acting focus, saying, "It was important to make all six people look like the culprit, but I felt that the character Han Jin-woo, whom I play, needed to have different tension in the beginning and the end of the film. While he is an affectionate, delicate, and good-natured person, it was important to capture and express his tense side and decisive side when entering the interview room, as well as the changes after leaving the interview room. I focused on that because I thought it had to be convincing to the audience."
In this film, Kim Jaewon takes on the role of Han Jin-woo, a passionate and kindhearted applicant who struggles to pass the final interview in recruitment for a major corporation.

When asked if there was a character among the six main figures he would like to try playing besides his own role, Kim Jaewon named Jeon Yo-han, played by Kwak Dong-yeon. Kim Jaewon replied, "I think Jeon Yo-han is on the complete opposite side, not only from Han Jin-woo, whom I played, but also from my actual personality. I want to express a character who is different from me using my own face."
"Final Interview" is a film about six applicants gathered in a final interview room who discover mysterious envelopes containing revelations about each of them, leading them to suspect one another and throwing them into chaos. It adapts Japanese author Asakura Akinari's novel "Six Lying College Students" to fit Korean circumstances and sentiments.
The film will be released on November 4.
