On SBS's "The Ballad of Us Season 2," airing tonight, November 2, at 10 p.m., Season 2's standout power vocalists Park Ye-seung and Han Ro-i clash in a fateful deathmatch for a spot in Round 3.
Park Ye-seung, who became the first contestant across all seasons to receive a perfect score in Round 1, reveals that his father also served in the Marine Corps like Roy Kim and selects Roy Kim's "If You Ask Me What Love Is," his father's all-time favorite song. In response, Roy Kim reacts with his signature cheerful humor, saying, "The Marines are in our DNA," while warmly offering advice to Park Ye-seung.
Facing him, Han Ro-i selects his mother's favorite song, Kang San-eh's "When I Look at You," showcasing his deeply resonant tone and elevated vocal prowess. As soon as the performance ends, Park Kyung-rim signals the arrival of a legendary clip for this year, remarking, "The views are going to explode."
A contest so fiercely balanced that Jung Jae-hyung commented, "Right here is an active battlefield," was also teased. Judge Roy Kim even threw in the towel at one point, admitting, "I'm going to abstain from voting." Stunned reactions reportedly erupted among the "Top 100 Ears" panel immediately after the announcement of the results, heightening anticipation over the outcome of the match.
Packed with twists that will take everyone by surprise, "The Ballad of Us Season 2" airs tonight, Monday, November 2, at 10 p.m.
