Artists representing the present of K-pop have gathered together. G-DRAGON, BTS, Stray Kids, and CORTIS have graced the "DICON" D'FESTA THE ORIGIN edition.
The D'FESTA THE ORIGIN edition is a special project commemorating the 15th anniversary of Dispatch's founding. It captures in pictorial form the moments of "D'FESTA THE ORIGIN," an art exhibition featuring 48 K-pop artists.
G-DRAGON said, "If I were to leave myself behind as an archive, the keyword I would definitely want to engrave is 'One of a Kind' (one and only)." He revealed various sides that could not be seen on stage, expressing his multifaceted nature across eight separate rooms.
BTS expressed the achievements and glory they have built up over a long period. The pictorial also highlighted the journey they traveled to reach the pinnacle and the traces they left along the way.
RM said, "I hope BTS will be remembered even 100 years from now as a group that gave people dreams and comfort." The edition captured not only BTS today, but also the future they dream of.
Stray Kids do not follow a set path. They have pioneered a new direction through their own music and performance. Their unstoppable drive was translated into the pictorial.
SEUNGMIN said, "We are still running in full swing," adding, "The finish line is not yet in sight." The members' relentless passion unfolded within an endless circuit.
CORTIS is a group that has just broken out of their shell. In the pictorial, they took bold leaps without being tied to standard formulas. Befitting their original musical identity, the free moments of the five members were captured.
Juhoon said, "If I were to describe this shoot in three words, it would be freedom, energy, and style." The members defied conventions by jumping on a trampoline in a room rotated 90 degrees.
The G-DRAGON, BTS, Stray Kids, and CORTIS editions feature individual covers. The mini postcards include handwritten messages from the members, with holographic processing adding collectible value. Selfie photocards and monochrome folded photos are also provided. In particular, the folded photos feature seven black-and-white portraits per member, which can be detached as individual sheets.
Pre-orders for the first lineup of the "DICON" D'FESTA THE ORIGIN edition open on November 4 at 2:00 PM. Retailers include DICON Mall, Departmen (Official Japan Store), Weverse Shop, KakaoTalk Gift, YES24, Aladin, Kyobo Book Centre, and Ktown4u. Purchases can be made until November 15 at 11:59 PM.
