On November 6, Do Sang-woo's agency J-Wide Company announced, "Do Sang-woo has met a precious partner to spend his life with and will tie the knot in February 2027," adding, "The wedding will be held privately out of consideration for the bride-to-be and both families. Please send warm congratulations and encouragement to the two as they embark on a new beginning in life."
Shortly after the marriage announcement, Do Sang-woo directly shared his thoughts via social media.
Do Sang-woo posted several photos along with the message, "The proposal I have envisioned in my heart for years! I had only imagined gifting that moment while taking family photos, and that scene has now become a reality," adding, "Sharing our simple everyday lives, we are getting married!"
The released pictures drew attention by capturing the romantic moment when, during a family photoshoot with their pet dog and cat, Do Sang-woo made a surprise proposal with a ring, and Park Ji-hye responded with a radiant smile.
Do Sang-woo debuted as a model in 2008 and transitioned to acting through tvN's "Flower Boy Ramen Shop" in 2011. Since then, he has showcased memorable performances in diverse dramas including "My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol," "Queen: Love and War," "Backstreet Rookie," "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow," and "Walking on Thin Ice."
The bride-to-be, Park Ji-hye, is a prominent model who debuted internationally as an exclusive model for the Alexander Wang show at the 2013 S/S New York Fashion Week and has actively worked on global runways.
