"Killing Time" is a time-attack thriller that follows the internet broadcasting crew "Killing Time", who lost everything in a momentary accident and are attacked by a mysterious presence at an abandoned hospital they visited to make a comeback, as they struggle to survive against the merciless attacks.

Ryu Hyeyoung, who has built her own unique color by moving back and forth between television and the screen in works such as "Reply 1988", "Law School", "Law and The City", and the upcoming releases "The Intern" and "The Assassin(s)", takes on the role of Yeon-woo and leads the story. Yeon-woo is a streamer for "Killing Time" who lost everything in an instant due to a team member's death, and Ryu Hyeyoung is expected to deliver an intense presence by densely expressing the desperation of Yeon-woo, who is suddenly driven into a life-or-death struggle.

Nam Yoon-su takes on the role of Ju-won, the leader of "Killing Time" who pushes a boundary-crossing game all the way through. Nam Yoon-su, who has drawn attention for his limitless character-portrayal skills in "Extracurricular", "Beyond Evil", and "Love in the Big City", is expected to show a new side never seen before through the role of Ju-won, a PD of dogged determination who tries to create hit content even in a blood-soaked abandoned hospital for a comeback.

The "Killing Time" crew, led by the two, engages in a desperate struggle to survive within a limited time from the moment they encounter a mysterious presence, delivering extreme tension.

The released teaser poster immediately captures attention by featuring a broken play button stained with blood. The play button in the center of the black screen is shattered and stained with red blood, hinting at the shocking reality of a "killing" live broadcast where a life-or-death situation unfolds in real time.

In addition, the playback bar reminiscent of a real video player adds a feeling of logging into someone's live broadcast to stimulate curiosity, and the copy "It ends when you die" heightens the tension of a survival game where they must survive until the very end.

"Killing Time" will be available in theaters in October.

Director Hur Jin-ho, who directed the film "The Assassin(s)," used the word "respect" when speaking about Park Hae-il.

On the afternoon of the 10th in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Director Hur Jin-ho held an interview to commemorate the release of the film "The Assassin(s)." Regarding Park Hae-il, with whom he is working for the second time following "The Last Princess" (2014), he started by sharing a point of connection in their tastes, saying, "Both of us like makgeolli. So whenever our eyes meet, we tend to say things like, 'Makgeolli!'"

He continued, "I have told actor Park Hae-il in private that I 'respect' him. As I felt during 'The Last Princess' as well, Park Hae-il is a wonderful person both as a human and as an actor. In this project too, I was deeply moved by his diligence and dedication as an actor."

Director Hur Jin-ho revealed, "There is a scene where Yeong-il, played by Lee Minho, has an incident happen and calls the newspaper desk chief Jae-hwan (Park Hae-il) to report the situation. As you know, in the case of telephone scenes, the counterpart's scene is added through later editing, so actor Park Hae-il did not need to be on set. Usually, the directing team stands in to perform the voice acting for phone calls. The day of shooting that scene was especially hot, but actor Park Hae-il came out to the set anyway even though he had no shooting scenes of his own. It was a scene that went over ten takes, and he did the voice acting for the phone call from start to end. I was surprised, and the other actors on set were surprised too."

He added, "He has now become a mid-career actor, and he tries to fulfill his role right where he is. I felt that the character of Jae-hwan was just like him. I was surprised watching him act by saying, 'Did you leave the article to me?' Not only was he serious, but he also added wit with casual touches in his acting. It made me think, 'He's charming, isn't he?' It was amazing to see his endless contemplation on how to express this character and his efforts to add dimensionality to the character."

In this project, Park Hae-il takes on the role of Jae-hwan, a city desk reporter covering the assassination of the First Lady, delivering a passionate performance that exemplifies upright journalism (meaning upholding just arguments and recording facts exactly as they are).

"The Assassin(s)" tells the story of tracking the suspicions and behind-the-scenes forces of the First Lady assassination incident that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974. It was directed by Director Hur Jin-ho, who made "Christmas in August" and "The Last Princess," and stars Yoo Hai-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Minho.

The film is scheduled to be released on September 23.

Actors Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin are set to showcase a unique romantic comedy through the new Netflix series "Take Charge of My Heart".

On the 10th, Netflix confirmed the premiere date for "Take Charge of My Heart" as October 9 and released an exciting teaser poster and trailer.

Based on a popular web novel of the same name, "Take Charge of My Heart" is a romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart battery is depleted and a woman with electrical powers, who use each other for charging. It is raising anticipation as the first romantic comedy directed by Park Soo-won, who showed witty directing skills in "Work Later, Drink Now" and "Birthcare Center".

In the series, Kim Young-kwang plays Baek Ho-rang, a chic third-generation chaebol and managing director of TS Resort, while Chae Soo-bin plays Na Bo-bae, a drama writer who gained special electrical powers after being struck by lightning as a child.

First, the crackling chemistry between the two in the teaser poster is intriguing. As the exciting height difference between the two standing side by side catches the eye, pink sparks fly from their clasped hands. A charging icon appears above their heads, and a pink switch turns on in Baek Ho-rang's heart as well. In addition, the phrase written beside them, "Charged when touching, discharged when apart, electrocuted by love!", raises curiosity about the relationship between Baek Ho-rang and Na Bo-bae.

The released trailer captures unpredictable events that unfold when Na Bo-bae, who used to avoid contact with others due to her electrical powers, encounters Baek Ho-rang, a human rubber glove who does not get electrocuted even when touching her. After experiencing the miracle of being charged next to Na Bo-bae when facing a battery depletion crisis due to a hospital blackout on the day of his artificial heart battery replacement surgery, a full-fledged spark romance is set to unfold as he proposes a 3-month charging skinship contract before his re-operation.

The sweet and thrilling K-romcom "Take Charge of My Heart" starring Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin can be met on Netflix on October 9.

Seoul Arena, currently under construction as South Korea's largest scale performance venue, has entered its first official venue application process to secure concert lineups for the second half of 2027.

Seoul Arena announced on the 10th that it is accepting official venue applications for the second half of 2027 from concert promoters and entertainment companies until the 18th. Seoul Arena is being developed as a private investment business (BTO) project where Kakao participates as the main investor, and after completion, the facility ownership will be transferred to the Seoul Metropolitan Government while a business corporation holding Kakao shares takes charge of operation for 30 years.

The venue was planned from the design stage as a space specialized for music performances. It applied retractable seating to flexibly configure seats according to the event format, and also introduced a seat LED system linked with performance direction and an acoustic infrastructure.

The accommodation scale consists of two types: an arena accommodating a maximum of 28,000 people and a medium-sized performance venue operating at a scale of about 7,000 people. The two performance venues can also be linked and utilized as needed, explaining that they will respond to various scales of performances such as global tours, festivals, concerts, fan meetings, and showcases.

Seoul Arena aims to open in the first half of next year and has also been selected as the venue for holding "2027 FANOMENON," which models itself after the Korean version of Coachella. Using this venue application as an opportunity, it plans to actively attract performances such as large-scale concerts and global tours while strengthening its support system so that promoting companies can prepare performances according to production schedules.

Oh Ji-hoon, CEO of Seoul Arena, said, "We are preparing to let artists and production crews more freely realize the stages they imagine and provide audiences with a high-immersion live experience that was previously difficult to experience," adding, "Starting with this official venue application, we will closely cooperate with domestic and international concert promoters to present various performances that can show Seoul Arena's unique competitiveness."

Official venue applications are being accepted through the Seoul Arena official venue webpage (partner.seoularena.net) until the 18th.

A precious 100 million won donation made by SUPER JUNIOR member EUNHYUK in memory of his late father has been transformed into a new play space for children.

Child welfare organization Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Young-ki) announced on the 10th that it has established the Anthony Browne Imagination Playground at the Green Umbrella Siheung Daeoullim Children's Center together with SUPER JUNIOR's EUNHYUK.

This space was prepared with 100 million won donated by EUNHYUK to Green Umbrella in celebration of his birthday. Previously, he made a donation on his late father's birthday in 2024, joining the Green Noble Club, a major donors' circle at Green Umbrella, as its 487th member.

The Siheung Daeoullim Children's Center is a welfare institution that provides language and cultural education as well as awareness-raising activities to help children from diverse cultural backgrounds grow up healthily and happily in their families and communities.

The Anthony Browne Imagination Playground is a child-friendly space where children can freely play, read books, and rest comfortably. It features design elements and the artistic world of world-renowned picture book author Anthony Browne reflected throughout the space.

Green Umbrella explained that it remodeled the existing space to incorporate the familiar images and atmosphere of picture books, allowing children to naturally experience play and reading while freely imagining and enjoying activities.

At the time of his donation, EUNHYUK reportedly expressed his wish, saying, "I hope that children can play and read books to their hearts' content without physical or environmental restrictions, and cultivate the strength to view the world positively."

EUNHYUK's father passed away in a traffic accident in August 2022, and EUNHYUK has continuously made donations since then to commemorate his father. Thanks to this history of memorial donations, his father was also inducted as the 94th member of Green Umbrella's Green Legacy Club, which honors bequest donors and memorial donation pledgers.

EUNHYUK's charitable deeds have a long history. Starting with a 100 million won donation to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association for COVID-19 relief in February 2020, he delivered 40.04 million won to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation in April 2023, combining fan meeting proceeds with his personal funds. In September of the same year, he donated 6 facepiece sterilizers to improve the working conditions of firefighters at the Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters, and in December, he donated 100 million won to Fire Family Hope Sharing, an organization supporting bereaved families of firefighters who died in the line of duty. Last year, he continued his steady sharing by successively delivering 100 million won in emergency relief funds for major wildfires in the Yeongnam region in March and 100 million won for a child abuse prevention campaign by the Eastern Social Welfare Society in July.

The film "Flavor of Prison" (literal title) wrapped up filming on September 5 and released a group character cut.

"Flavor of Prison" is a cheerful comedic film depicting a culinary rehabilitation project where a star chef, who hits rock bottom overnight and starts working in a prison kitchen, creates soul-awakening dishes using unimaginable recipes and ingredients.

Lee Sun-bin takes on a fresh charm as Jessica, a star chef who has only walked the elite culinary path and does not hesitate to dish out sharp remarks, only to fall overnight to a prison kitchen.

In addition, Park Ji-hwan, with his irreplaceable presence, adds vitality to the story as Jeong-bae, the head of Cell No. 3, who constantly clashes with star chef Jessica while creating surprising dishes using unheard-of recipes and unidentified ingredients.

Bae Hyun-sung is set to showcase a fresh charm as Su-hyeon, a newcomer in Cell No. 3 who is emerging as a Gen Z prison chef with his delicate personality that stimulates protective instincts and his innate cooking sense.

The actors and director, having finished all filming, shared their thoughts on wrapping up. Lee Sun-bin shared, "The time spent with "Flavor of Prison" passed really quickly. I am glad we finished filming safely, and I eagerly look forward to meeting the audience in theaters with this project."

Park Ji-hwan also expressed confidence in the work, saying, "Thanks to the director, staff members, and fellow actors, I was able to work hard with a comfortable mind. Four years after leaving the group LE SSERAFIM amid school bullying controversies, Kim Ga-ram has announced a fresh start as an actor.

Kim Ga-ram previously signaled her return to the entertainment industry by signing an exclusive contract with Management Koo last June.

According to her agency, she has steadily trained toward her new goal of becoming an "actor," building her skills in various fields including acting, foreign languages such as English and Japanese, and athletics. She is currently carefully reviewing her next project and plans to meet the public through various works and contents, starting with the release of these profile photos.

Kim Ga-ram debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in May 2022, but school bullying controversies arose immediately after her debut, leading her to suspend activities on May 20 of that year, just 18 days after debuting. Eventually, Source Music officially announced the termination of her exclusive contract and her departure from the group.

Following her departure, Kim Ga-ram stepped away from official activities to focus on her studies, enrolling in Konkuk University's Department of Media Acting. In May of last year, she opened a personal Instagram account and gathered 500,000 followers in less than 24 hours, and in March of this year, she opened a YouTube channel share updates through vlog content.

Having transformed into a solo artist, MARK is taking the first step on his new journey with the new track "My Friend".

MARK will release his new song "My Friend" at 1 p.m. today through various online music sites in Korea and abroad. Actor Hyun Bin kicked off the new season with much deeper acting in the Disney+ original series "Made In Korea Season 2".

"Made In Korea Season 2" is a noir drama depicting the perilous journey of Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), who runs wild toward even greater ambition nine years later. Baek Ki-tae, who raced relentlessly toward wealth and power in Season 1, returned in Season 2 with a significantly elevated status after nine years.

Episodes 1 and 2, released on the 9th, captured attention by fully unfolding the changed appearance of Baek Ki-tae at the center of immense power. From his very first appearance, Baek Ki-tae had a one-on-one meeting with the President, revealing a status and authority distinctly different from before. In particular, sitting in the vacant presidential seat and putting a cigarette in his mouth directly showed his ambition to look higher even though he had already gained a lot, strongly announcing the beginning of Season 2.

Following this, standing in the Defense Security Command interrogation room after the Gungjeong-dong safehouse incident, Baek Ki-tae created intense tension by dominating the scene with an unshakable attitude and relaxed momentum. A subtle crack was also detected in his relationship with his younger brother Baek Ki-hyun (played by Woo Do Hwan). Baek Ki-tae, who pushes forward his own will while putting forward the relationship of family, and Baek Ki-hyun, who resists this, revealed the changed relationship between the two, foreshadowing the full-scale conflict between the brothers to come.

Hyun Bin densely portrayed Baek Ki-tae, who has changed as much as the passage of nine years. Ahn Bohyun delivers a shocking twist to viewers in "Flex X Cop 2" by getting urgently arrested on suspicion of murdering his friend.

In the 11th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Flex X Cop 2" (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong), airing at 9:50 PM on Friday the 11th, Jin Yi-soo (Ahn Bohyun), who had been walking a smooth path, plunges into a life-or-death crisis overnight as he becomes a murder suspect.
