SBS's new dating reality show "Love Against Time" captivated viewers from its very first episode with touching sincerity and unpredictable, twist-filled narratives.

In the premiere broadcast on the 3rd, eight young men and women—Kim Seonho, Jung Yeji, Han Dogon, Seo Robin, Kim Ryungi, Kim Jongeun, Kang Minyoung, and Kim Nayoung—moved into a house and shared their exciting first meeting. Although they initially appeared as bright and charming as any of their peers, it was revealed that they are all survivors who have overcome major health battles against cancer or rare incurable diseases.

The highlight of the episode was the sharing session where the cast members confessed their own healing journeys and scars. Heartbreaking stories followed, including Seo Robin, who received a bone marrow transplant from her older sister; Han Dogon, who was diagnosed with blood cancer after living a healthy life through exercise and volunteering; Kim Jongeun, who had to give up her dream of becoming a firefighter due to acute myeloid leukemia; Jung Yeji, who overcame life-or-death crises in a sterile room; Kim Seonho, who endured a rare cancer during his military service; Kim Ryungi, who underwent a total gastrectomy due to stomach cancer; Kim Nayoung, who lost her hearing to a brain tumor; and Kang Minyoung, who endured multiple difficult surgeries for osteosarcoma diagnosed during her teens.

After sharing experiences they had never been able to confide to anyone else, the cast members comforted each other warmly, saying they felt relieved. Host YENA, who watched them through VCRs, also confessed her own experience suffering from childhood cancer (lymphoma), showing deep empathy for the cast's feelings.

In the latter part of the broadcast, a differentiated matching system called the "Room of Time" was unveiled. The structure allows participants to freely exchange time given for a day, and a date is successfully arranged if their combined time totals 100 minutes or more, raising the tension by visually portraying psychological warfare and emotional shifts.

In particular, on the first night, Kim Seonho raised curiosity to the maximum by confessing, "As time goes by, I feel more and more that the person I am thinking of is correct. Actually, I know that person," hinting at a fateful reunion and turning the studio upside down. Upon seeing this, MC Lee Seyoung could not close her mouth, saying, "Even dramas would get criticized if they were written like this," heightening anticipation for the upcoming love lines.

Episode 2 of "Love Against Time," which promises heavy resonance, excitement, and a fateful reunion as young adults who have crossed the boundaries of life and death comfort each other's scars, will air on the 10th.

Actors Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu are returning with a new season of the SBS variety show "My Grumpy Secretary", which provides close-up care for stars.

On August 4, SBS announced that the new season of "My Grumpy Secretary" has confirmed its premiere for Friday, August 28 at 11:10 PM.

During its previous run, "My Grumpy Secretary" proved its explosive popularity by taking first place in its time slot from its very first episode and surpassing 170 million cumulative views for broadcast clips and highlight videos. It also swept TV, digital, and OTT markets simultaneously, ranking first in the variety show category on Netflix under "Today's Top Series in South Korea".

The newly returning "My Grumpy Secretary" has previewed a transformation into "real secretaries" who go beyond simple managerial roles. They plan to provide close-up care for stars' daily lives, not only handling official schedules but also taking charge of covert and private areas that were difficult for traditional managers to access.

Through meticulous attention in anticipating what stars need and in-depth conversations sharing worries they could never bring up anywhere else, the show is expected to draw out the raw charms and sincere inner thoughts of stars off the stage.

As previous season cast member Choi Hwa-jung previously stated, "It's great that 'My Grumpy Secretary' is closer and more covert than a manager," the tighter trust and relationship between the stars and their secretaries are expected to bring unique laughter and empathy.

Disney+ original series "Made in Korea Season 2" is set to premiere on September 9.

"Made in Korea Season 2" follows the perilous journey of Baek Ki-tae, who runs wild toward an even greater desire 9 years later.

Along with the announcement of the September 9 release date, Disney+ unveiled a teaser trailer that raises anticipation for the powerful ensemble of trusted actors and a tension-filled narrative.

The released teaser trailer immediately heightens immersion, conveying the tense grandeur of a massive prelude where desires hotter than blood explode, starting with the appearance of Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), who radiates overwhelming charisma. The meaningful lines, "I kept my head down, hid my claws, and waited for this moment," foreshadow Baek Ki-tae's even more unbridled path.

Following this, Jang Gun-young (Jung Woosung), who reappears after 9 years, pressures Baek Ki-hyun (Woo Do Hwan) by saying, "Choose which side you're on." At the same time, Baek Ki-tae's chilling warning, "Are you trying to mess with me?" clearly reveals the irreversible rift that will lead the two brothers to point the blades at each other. In particular, intense lines such as "This is a war right now. It only ends when one side dies," along with scenes where the characters' desires, choices, and betrayals breathlessly intersect, generate extreme tension by portending a fateful showdown that will shake everything.

The sharp confrontation between characters fighting for their respective beliefs and survival in the middle of a war where no one can back down raises expectations for the further expanded narrative and unpredictable relationship changes in Season 2.

In addition, actors who imprinted their irreplaceable presence since Season 1, such as Seo Eunsoo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, and Noh Jae-won, complete intricately entangled character relationships and heighten the drama's density.

Actors Choi Minsik and Han Sohee are starring in the film "The Intern," which has set its sights on this year's Chuseok holiday box office.

"The Intern" has confirmed its release date for September 16 and released its first poster and teaser trailer.

"The Intern" depicts an office life that transcends generations and job ranks, beginning when Ki-ho (Choi Minsik), a 37-year veteran silver intern, joins the company of Seon-woo (Han Sohee), who rapidly emerged as a dark horse in the fashion industry just three years after launch.

This film is a remake of the Hollywood movie of the same title, which was loved by global audiences in 2015 by grossing more than five times its production budget. Choi Minsik plays the role of the 37-year veteran intern originally played by Robert De Niro, while Han Sohee takes on the role of the rookie CEO originally played by Anne Hathaway.

The film is directed by Kim Do-young, who achieved a 3 million box office hit with "Once We Were Us." Following her previous work, director Kim Do-young has once again taken the helm of a remake, infusing a major original film with Korean sensibilities.

The first poster, released on the morning of the 4th, catches the eye with the confident strides of silver intern Ki-ho (Choi Minsik) and passionate CEO Seon-woo (Han Sohee) as they head to work side by side.

The accompanying teaser trailer begins with Ki-ho experiencing a mix of tension and excitement as he heads to work after a long time. During his interview with Vice CEO Younghwan (Kim Jun-han), when asked about his strengths and weaknesses, Ki-ho wittily replies, "My strength is that I have a lot of experience, and my weakness is that I am old," eventually getting his hands on an intern employee ID card for the fashion startup Woo To Too. Arriving at the company in a neat suit with a briefcase, Ki-ho neatly lays out cream bread, oanda, a thermos, a desk clock, a pencil case, and ink on his desk, showing off the unique vibe of a silver intern right from the start.

Meanwhile, Ki-ho's earnest expression as he searches for "how to work with young generations" and the meaning of the slang term "gam-da-dwii" stimulates viewers' curiosity about his bitter-sweet youngest-member life as a veteran of society starting over as a silver intern at a new company.

On the other hand, a humorous moment arises when CEO Seon-woo looks at Ki-ho's resume photo on a tablet handed to her by secretary Mina (Ryu Hye-young) and flusters, saying, "Who is this scary person?" The contrast between CEO Seon-woo, who feels uncomfortable with the silver intern assigned directly under her, saying, "I don't get along with all adults in this world, you know," and Ki-ho, who politely introduces himself by saying, "My name is Kim Ki-ho, a new intern employee," previews the unpredictable chemistry between the two.

"The Intern" has confirmed its release for the Chuseok season, setting up competition with films such as "Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub" and "REAWAKEN MAN: THE RED."
