"Mousetrap" is a mystery thriller in which Moon-jae (Ryu Jun-yeol), a novelist who has had his name, face, and life stolen by a mysterious entity known as a mousetrap, loan shark No-ja (Sul Kyung-gu), who wants to find his lost money, and detective Sun-yong (Lee Kyoo-hyung) track down the identity of the mousetrap. On the 24th, Netflix raised anticipation by releasing stills based on the folklore of "Rat Transformed Into a Man," which served as the motif for "Mousetrap".

The released stills capture Moon-jae cutting his own fingernails, and Moon-jae facing the mousetrap, which has the exact same face as him across a barbed-wire fence, heralding the ultimate suspense.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the work delves into the vulnerabilities of modern society, where others are proven solely through appearances and a few pieces of personal information. Ryu Jun-yeol shared, "I thought that the appearance of modern society, where we have no choice but to define ourselves through a few things like our outward appearance, IDs, and things around us that prove who we are, is well blended into 'Mousetrap'." Sul Kyung-gu also explained, "The chilliness regarding how easily one can be socially erased when unverified within a notarized system, and how easily swayed we are by outward appearances, are characteristics of modern society."

Lee Kyoo-hyung further noted, "I got goosebumps thinking that someone could steal my life as well if they put their mind to it because of the overflowing personal information," while director Kim Hong-sun, who is in charge of the production, expressed confidence in the high level of immersion, stating, "Since similar things are actually happening and more people are living alone, I think it is a fully possible occurrence."

The tracking thriller "Mousetrap", which delicately captures the anxieties of modern society based on familiar folklore, consists of a total of 10 episodes and will be released via Netflix on Friday the 28th.

Singer Jang Han-eum created special memories with fans through a solo fan meeting.

Jang Han-eum held his solo fan meeting "i&i : From I to We" at the Gonggam Center Gonggam Hall in Seoul on the 22nd to meet with fans. Having reunited with fans eight months after his first fan concert at the end of last year, he held two shows on this day.

Jang Han-eum shared his thoughts through his agency, saying, "Since it was a meeting with fans after a long time, I had high expectations and worries, but thanks to the cheers of Bambees who filled the venue, I gained a lot of strength. I hope we can continue to rely on each other and stay together for a very long time."

Singer Paul Kim is releasing his first-ever U.S. single.

Paul Kim recently met with local fans by premiering his new single, which is his first new track introduced in the U.S. and his first emotional pop track recorded in English, "Love Me Hard," on stage at the Chimaek Festival held in LA, USA.

"Love Me Hard" is a track that captures the longing to love with all one's heart, risking the danger of getting hurt even amidst calculated and lighthearted ways of loving. It also carries a message to dive without hesitation toward dreams, goals, people, and everything one loves, going beyond the emotions between lovers.

Regarding the song, Paul Kim shared, "If you love something, I wanted to express the feeling of loving it with all your heart," adding, "I hope people will listen to this song when they have deep worries or fear in their hearts." He also added, "When moving toward your dreams, or when you want to convey your feelings to friends and loved ones, I hope this song can give you a little bit of courage."

Previously, Paul Kim achieved notable results in the first half of this year by placing his first original new track released in Japan on the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts.

Emotional vocalist Paul Kim's first U.S. single "Love Me Hard" will be released worldwide in the second half of this year.
