According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing computer network on the 28th, "Heartsping: Teenieping of Love: The Legend of the Whale Jewel" recorded a cumulative audience of 800,162 as of this morning.

The film "The Assassin(s)", which is targeting the Chuseok holiday, has confirmed stage greeting schedules featuring its main cast and director up to the third week of its release.

Director Hur Jin-ho, Yoo Hai-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Minho are scheduled to express their gratitude to moviegoers starting with stage greetings on opening day, Wednesday, September 23.

First, on Wednesday, September 23, they will greet those who visited the work on its opening day at Lotte Cinema World Tower and CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall. Following this, on Thursday, September 24, they will visit CGV Wangsimni, Lotte Cinema Konkuk University, Megabox COEX, and Lotte Cinema World Tower in sequence.

SBS "Unanswered Questions" is tracking the hidden truth behind the sudden death of a 44-month-old child.

Aired on the 29th, "Unanswered Questions" will delve into the reality of a mysterious case titled "The Confessions of the Haunted Sisters and the Eldest Daughter - The Secret of the 44-Month-Old Stepdaughter's Death."

In June 2019, Sua (a pseudonym), a 3-year-old at 44 months of age, was transferred to a hospital emergency room in Seoul and ultimately passed away. While her cause of death was presumed to be head trauma, dozens of bruises and wounds appearing to be caused by external force were found all over her body, raising suspicions of abuse.

However, following an investigation at the time, police closed the internal investigation on the grounds that there was no conclusive evidence of assault by another person and that there were circumstances pointing to self-harm. Family members claimed that Sua had been diagnosed with an intellectual disability, showed aggressive tendencies, and repeatedly engaged in self-harm such as banging her head against objects.

Reports indicate that Sua had been diagnosed with a grade 3 intellectual disability and was living at her great-aunt's house because she displayed aggressive tendencies toward her father and older sister as if she were possessed by a ghost. While her stepmother, surnamed Park (pseudonym), visited to care for her, the family explained that Sua had repeatedly self-harmed.

The case entered a new phase six years after Sua's passing, when her older sister Subin (pseudonym), who was 5 years old at the time, shared a shocking story. Subin remembered that her stepmother had whispered to her and her younger sister, instructing them to engage in unusual behavior. Meanwhile, the stepmother's side has strongly denied the abuse allegations, calling them lies told by Subin.

"Unanswered Questions," which will track whether this confession that has surfaced after six years is a distorted memory or a hidden secret, will air on Saturday the 29th at 11:10 PM.

On the 24th, 104 days after her disappearance, Jang Mi-ran was found dead under a palm tree in a village located just a five-minute walk from the accommodation where she usually stayed. Previously, right after her boyfriend reported her missing in May, the assigned investigator, Police Officer Bu, claimed he had spoken directly with Mi-ran and confirmed her safety before closing the case. However, it was revealed that no call records even existed. The family had to wait for over two months believing the police's falsehoods.

As the investigation revealed, this was not the only case that Officer Bu had falsely closed. It was confirmed that Officer Bu had also directly handled and falsely closed the missing persons case of a man in his 60s who was later found as a skeleton following a re-reporting, adding to the shock.

Why did Officer Bu, who had dreamed of becoming a police officer since his school days, go so far as to lie about confirming a missing person's safety and rush to close the case? What happened during the 104 days when the golden time was missed due to a police officer's lies?

Mi-ran's parents and older brother, who had never stepped in front of the press before, shared their feelings about losing their daughter and younger sister with "Curious Stories Y". Tracing Mi-ran's final footsteps based on the family's memories and testimonies, "Curious Stories Y" will air at 8:50 p.m. on Friday, the 28th, to track the questions left behind after Officer Bu's false case closure scandal.

Actor Kim Soo-hyun is set to make his first official domestic appearance in a long time as a presenter at the "2026 The Fact Music Awards".

The Coupang Play series "The Affair Was Just the Beginning" is a prime example of this. The title itself serves as a powerful hook, sparking curiosity about the show. Once you are drawn in by the title and check out the cast lineup and logline, your interest multiplies. Kim Hye-soo and Cho Yeo-jeong? The mere fact that these top actors, who have maintained their positions for a long time, chose this project deepens your trust in it.

"The Affair Was Just the Beginning" begins with the story of Kyung-hee (Kim Hye-soo), Jae-hong (Kim Jihun), and their daughter Ye-ji (Jeon Si-hyeon). Living in poverty in a semi-basement studio apartment with a leaky ceiling, Kyung-hee firmly resolves, "Let's live well."

That resolution soon becomes reality. Starting a YouTube channel centered on her unique interior design sensibility, Kyung-hee succeeds and grows into a creator with one million followers. Her family rises in social status, moving from the semi-basement to an apartment, and then to a luxury townhouse, finally entering high society. Kyung-hee's seemingly harmonious family and Su-jeong's seemingly perfect family go beyond a simple neighborly relationship, becoming organically intertwined through their respective needs. Then, completely unexpected events break out in a chain reaction.

Tracking her husband's footsteps in search of traces of infidelity, Kyung-hee discovers a bloody corpse and her husband Jae-hong standing in front of it in an empty building in a demolition zone late at night. But this is only the beginning. Shocking serial incidents that she could never have imagined await Kyung-hee. Crimes that make an affair seem almost less shocking, such as drunk driving, hit-and-run, murder, and abandonment of a body, take place one after another.

Amidst twist upon twist, the characters struggle desperately to protect their respective families. In this process, their bare faces are exposed without filter. While a chaotic mess unfolds where the wounds caused by a spouse's affair become the starting point for another affair, even as they scramble to clean up the mess, their raw instincts and desires keep surfacing, portrayed with such desperation and pathos that they can seem almost pathetic.

They say life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long shot. Watching the hypocrisy and true faces of these seemingly perfect people get relentlessly stripped away is immensely entertaining. It delivers the intense thrills of a black comedy genre. The fast-paced delivery of raw, writhing fun also provides an overwhelming sense of immersion.

Bringing this solid script and sophisticated direction to life with flavor is the captivating acting of the cast. Kim Hye-soo, Cho Yeo-jeong, Kim Jihun, and Kim Jaechul, along with Jeon Si-hyeon and Do Young-seo playing the daughters of each family, unfold a flawless feast of acting.
