According to Netflix’s Tudum website on June 11, "Mercy for None" recorded 4.9 million views (calculated by dividing total viewing hours by the show’s runtime) within just three days of its release (June 6–8), landing it in the Top 10 list in 44 countries and securing the No. 2 spot in the non-English TV category worldwide.
"Mercy for None" is a noir action series that follows Gi-jun (played by So Ji-sub), a man who once cut ties with the underworld and vanished from "Mercy for None". After 11 years, he returns to uncover the truth behind the death of his younger brother Gi-seok (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), who was the second-in-command of the organization. Marking So Ji-sub’s return to intense action for the first time in 13 years, "Mercy for None" offers the essence of cold, hard-hitting noir action. Its gripping genre appeal and the powerful performances of its uniquely charismatic cast have earned praise from viewers both in Korea and abroad.
Netflix also released behind-the-scenes stills from the show, offering a glimpse into the actors’ passionate performances and the warm, energetic atmosphere on set.

A still of Cha Young-do (played by Cha Seung-won) standing with a razor-sharp gaze brings back the mysterious and suspenseful energy of his performance. And Lee Jun-hyuk’s focused expression while monitoring a scene reflects his passion and affection for the project.
